For tickets visit www.FringeOnTheFly.com The Plinth is proud to present the New York City premiere of THE ANGER IN ERNEST AND ERNESTINE as part of the 18th annual New York International Fringe Festival – FringeNYC. Devised in the physical clown tradition, THE ANGER IN ERNEST AND ERNESTINE has been performed all over the world, from the Yukon to Prague, from Ohio to Cuba. We are very excited to be introducing these two clowns to a New York audience in FringeNYC. Two clowns get married and move into a closet. It’s cute, at first. But then little things become Big Things. And Big Things become E-X-C-R-U-C-I-A-T-I-N-G. Ernest and Ernestine discover they are trapped. Will Love be enough? Originally produced by Toronto’s Theatre Columbus, the show was nominated for four Dora Mayor Moore Awards and won the Dora Mayor Moore award for outstanding production. Heralded by the Toronto Star as “a wildly hilarious and painfully truthful caricature of human nature,” Ernest and Ernestine are excited to be leaving the Great White North for just south of the Great White Way. The Anger in Ernest and Ernestine is being performed at Venue #1 Teatro SEA on the following dates: Saturday, August 9 at 2:45 PM Tuesday, August 12 at 5:30 PM Friday, August 15 at 9:30 PM Sunday, August 17 at 7:30 PM Thursday, August 21 at 3:00 PM
